Jewish Cooking
PITCHI POÏ's cuisine (pronounce Pitshe Poy ) is my parent's cooking but it is my cooking as well - The cooking of the Yiddishland - A country which stretched from Strasbourg to Wladivostok through Warsaw, Moscow, Budapest, Bucharest, Kiev, Odessa, Bukhara and Samarcand- A country where the Halva came from Istambul the Samovars from Hispahan and the Queens from Turkey. Its entirety was exported to America and partly reimported. You can add a touch of our brother's cooking from the other side of the Mediteranean sea who now live with us and the know how of the French Cuisine.
